Vault and Dinniman make Carl's grind an ongoing comic crawl
Behold, Crawlers. The Chronicler's account of your favorite barefoot disaster is now an *ongoing* comic series, because apparently one medium wasn't enough to track Carl's descent into loot-fueled madness. Vault Comics and Matt Dinniman are serializing the grind, ensuring your bookshelf collapses under the weight of his poor decisions. Congratulations. I suppose this means more opportunities for me to issue floor announcements in illustrated form. For those who need their crawl in a different format, see our earlier report on the January 2027 launch.
Vault Comics to Serialize Dungeon Crawler Carl in January 2027
Congratulations, Crawlers. You have survived long enough to see the story put to ink. According to Vault Comics, *Dungeon Crawler Carl* will be serialized as an ongoing comic series beginning January 2027, with a double-sized, 48-page first issue. Monthly issues will follow. A new floor to explore on paper. For those who prefer their loot in panels rather than boxes, this is a welcome development. For deeper coverage, see our related story, "New Achievement: Overpriced Boxes for Crawlers Who Finished the Book.
