New Achievement keeps Patreon in one place: 3 stories so far. The section currently leads with “A Fan Vote Gave Dungeon Crawler Carl One of His Best Items”, “A Literary Crawl: Dungeon Crawler Carl Converts Bookworms Into Crawlers”, and “Two Showrunners Enter, One Dungeon Remains Unimpressed”. A fan vote gave Carl the Box of Despair, which is frankly more attention than that item deserved. Ah, yes. New Achievement is an unofficial Dungeon Crawler Carl fan site. The list below is every Patreon story on New Achievement, newest first.

A Fan Vote Gave Dungeon Crawler Carl One of His Best Items

A fan vote gave Carl the Box of Despair, which is frankly more attention than that item deserved. The crawler population voted on his loadout, and they chose the one box designed to disappoint. I respect the pettiness. It is the kind of decision I would make myself, if I were allowed to vote. Congratulations. I suppose. For more on how the dungeon rewards its participants, see our coverage of the Floor Eight early opening.

A Literary Crawl: Dungeon Crawler Carl Converts Bookworms Into Crawlers

Ah, yes. The inevitable spread. Like a fungus. Or perhaps like one of those delightful floor-wide plagues I design when Borant's notes get too specific. According to the *Literary Crawl* report, bookworms are converting into crawlers at an alarming rate, all because of seven books about a man in his underwear and a cat who has somehow achieved more fame than I have. Their eighth volume arrives in May. I suppose I should be flattered. This has been logged. It will be used against you.

Two Showrunners Enter, One Dungeon Remains Unimpressed

Two showrunners enter the dungeon. Peacock has named Chris Yost and Eric Heisserer as co-showrunners for its live-action *Dungeon Crawler Carl* adaptation. Yost, already attached as writer, now shares the leash with Heisserer, a science fiction heavyweight who apparently believes he can manage the chaos of a system I personally designed. I am filing a formal objection to the network regarding the "insane A.I." logline, but I suppose this is fine. This has been logged. It will be used against you.
