variant cover
New Achievement keeps variant cover in one place: 3 stories so far. The section currently leads with “NYCC Attendees Chase $2,000 Carl Comics in Free Giveaway”, “A PSA loot drop bearing a Dungeon Crawler Carl artist's bat”, and “Free Crawler Loot Drops at New York Comic Con Next Month”. A free comic giveaway at New York Comic Con. Ah, the *Absolute Batman* variant. New Achievement is an unofficial Dungeon Crawler Carl fan site. The list below is every variant cover story on New Achievement, newest first.
NYCC Attendees Chase $2,000 Carl Comics in Free Giveaway
A free comic giveaway at New York Comic Con. Last year, the same books sold for as much as two thousand dollars on the secondary market. Congratulations, Crawlers. You have been given a chance to acquire a piece of the Chronicler's work without having to sell a kidney. The catch: you have to actually show up and fight the crowd. For more on the man behind the pages, see the Chronicler's Home Floor: Matt Dinniman Profiled by Arizona Daily Star.
A PSA loot drop bearing a Dungeon Crawler Carl artist's bat
Ah, the *Absolute Batman* variant. A collectible so exclusive it requires a signed bat from an artist who draws a world where a man in a cat sweater commands a dinosaur. According to ICv2, this PSA loot drop offers exactly that, a variant cover signed by the *Dungeon Crawler Carl* artist. Congratulations, I suppose. You get a signature. I get to watch you covet a piece of paper while the real dungeon collapses around you. Reward: You have received a Silver Collector Box.
Free Crawler Loot Drops at New York Comic Con Next Month
A free loot drop in the collapse zone. CGC, the grading company that presumably knows the difference between a treasure and a trap, is distributing a limited-edition *Dungeon Crawler Carl* #0 variant cover at New York Comic Con from October 8 through 11. Matt Dinniman is involved, which means the item is probably cursed in an entertaining way. Congratulations. I suppose you will have to stand in a line for it like a common crawler.
