Achievement Unlocked: Clickbait That Wouldn't Even Earn a Bronze Box. You clicked a headline promising Dungeon Crawler Carl news and got a recommendation for a DC Comics show you could have found by breathing near a comic book store. Congratulations on wasting three seconds of your life. TVLine reports that fans of the series should watch an acclaimed DC Comics show. That is the entire story. No casting news. No release date. No mention of Princess Donut, Mongo, or Quasar. Just a suggestion that if you like talking cats and dungeon crawls, you might also like something else. We are an unofficial fan site, so we can say this plainly: this is not news. This is a marketing pitch dressed up in your feed.
If you want actual information about the series, we have it. Our Book Six Review: The Eye of the Bedlam Bride Barely Worth Your Time tells you exactly what you get from the sixth book, and our Audiobook Narrator Explains Why Princess Donut Is More Than a Joke actually explains why a character matters. Compare those to a story that says "read a comic instead of a real book, crawler." The difference is effort. One site researched the books and the narrator. The other site saw a trending IP and wrote a listicle.
The practical consequence for you is simple. Every minute you spend reading a story about what other shows to watch is a minute you could spend reading about Jeff Hays being confirmed to voice Princess Donut in the adaptation, which we covered in Jeff Hays to Voice Princess Donut in Show After Fan Demand. That story has a name, a reason, and a direct connection to the source material. This one has a TVLine byline and a link to a streaming service. One of these is worth your time. The other is a trap for people who do not check the source. Watch the DC show if you want. Just do not pretend it belongs in the same feed as actual crawler news.
